Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty Hosts “Meet the Visionaries” Event at The Loren at Turtle Cove

Turks and Caicos Islands – April 30th, 2026 – Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty (TCSIR) recently hosted an exclusive evening at The Loren at Turtle Cove, welcoming members of the Turks & Caicos Real Estate Association (TCREA), alongside specially invited guests from across the island’s professional community, including representatives from local banks, law firms, media, and other industry partners.


Held on April 30th, the event was designed to provide guests with a unique opportunity to meet the visionaries behind The Loren at Turtle Cove and gain first-hand insight into the thinking and direction shaping the development.

The evening began with guided tours of the site, led by TCSIR agents, who shared an overview of the project’s layout, design approach, and distinctive positioning within the market. This allowed guests to experience the development in context, ahead of further stages of construction.


Following the tours, guests gathered at CAMP at The Loren, where Graham Canham, Global Real Estate Advisor at TCSIR, delivered opening remarks speaking to the significance of the project and its place within the evolving Turks & Caicos real estate landscape. Remarks were also delivered by a representative of The Loren, offering additional perspective on the brand and its vision for the development.


A highlight of the evening was the opportunity for guests to engage directly with The Loren team, including Chris Emerson, CEO of The Loren Hotel Group, fostering meaningful dialogue around the project’s concept, design, and long-term outlook.

Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty Ryder Cup Golf Matches

Provo Ryder Cup Turks & Caicos

The Provo Golf Club Ryder Cup, sponsored by Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty, saw The International Team defeat The North American Team in a convincing 22.5 to 16.5 victory over the two day event which had 52 golfers compete head to head in the match play format. The win increased the International Team’s overall lead to 14 vs. 7 in this 21 year, member coveted, competition. Louis Dickenson and Steve Ross captained the International win by jumping out to a 7 to 6 first day lead in the best ball format on Saturday. North American captains Terry Erskine and Carol Brown rallied their team for Sunday’s singles play as the North American side got off to a steady start by matching the Internationals point for point over the first 10 matches.  With only 16 matches remaining just one point stood between the two sides before the eventual International champions pulled away from North America by winning 10.5 of the last 16 matches to seal the victory.

This year the Provo Ryder Cup was marked by some of the best golf witnessed in the history of the matches. Provo Golf Club was also able to showcase their new Tiff Eagle greens that are now complete over the entire 18 holes. The new greens have been received with rave reviews completing the quality conditioned layout. All four Captains did a fine job creating a competitive but fun atmosphere making golf and sportsmanship the winner.

Although the tournament is a true team event it should be noted that the following 8 players played well enough to obtain 2 points by winning both of their matches; Paul Murray, Jumphol Srinark, John Donatien, Chris Lemire, Bruce Romberg, Trevor Bromley, Steve Ross and Jared Fulton. Many other golfers played exceptional golf as well but were able to capture just less than 2 points which can be the very nature of match play.

The Ryder Cup is eagerly awaited each year as it is the favorite annual members’ event at Provo Golf Club. This year saw a well-attended, spirited Wednesday Night Pairings Party where the Captains set the stage for all 39 matches over the weekend. Assistant Captains, Steve Ross and Carol Brown have already started to put their attention towards next year’s renewal as they take over the reins in 2014.
