The Turks and Caicos Islands welcomed BermudAir on Monday, October 26, as the airline launched service to Providenciales, marking the beginning of a broader expansion connecting the destination with more cities across the United States, Canada, and the Caribbean.
The inaugural service introduced a new nonstop route between Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and Providenciales, with the departure from Howard Hamilton International Airport scheduled for 8:00 a.m.
A delegation from the Turks and Caicos Islands, led by Experience Turks and Caicos and the Turks and Caicos Islands Airports Authority (TCIAA), joined the inaugural flight. The delegation included Deputy Governor Her Excellency Anya Williams, Minister of Tourism Hon. Zhavargo Jolly, and representatives from the Turks and Caicos Hotel and Tourism Association (TCHTA), the Turks and Caicos Islands Tourism Authority, Invest Turks and Caicos, and local media.
The relationship between Bermuda and the Turks and Caicos Islands has now entered an exciting new chapter, driven by improved air connectivity, shared investment opportunities, and a growing presence in luxury real estate.

The Loren is at the heart of this emerging connection.
With established roots in Bermuda and a growing presence in Turks and Caicos, the luxury hospitality brand is bringing a shared vision of thoughtful development and exceptional coastal living to both destinations.
In Turks and Caicos, The Loren is advancing its vision for Turtle Cove, one of Providenciales’ historically significant waterfront locations. The appointment of Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty as the development’s exclusive sales and marketing representative marks a key milestone, connecting the project with an established luxury property network.
The partnership also builds on longstanding relationships between the two markets, including the collaboration with Rego Sotheby’s International Realty in Bermuda, who was also a co-founder of Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty.
As air access expands and investment relationships deepen, Bermuda and Turks and Caicos are increasingly connected through more than tourism. Their shared appeal as exclusive island destinations is creating opportunities for real estate investment, luxury development, and long-term partnerships.
For The Loren, this is an opportunity to build on the character of two distinctive island destinations while shaping their next chapter in luxury coastal living.
