Grace Bay Resorts Continues Its Growth In Turks And Caicos With Exclusive Release Of Sales At The Point, At The Renowned Point Grace Resort

Villas at Blue Mountain officially launched

The Villas at Blue Mountain, the newest passion project presented by one of Turks and Caicos’ most celebrated developers, Stan Hartling of the Hartling Group, has officially launched. 

Designed by internationally respected architect, Rafael Amuchastegui and his team at RAD Architecture in Miami, these homes are a stunning combination of glass and stone showcasing the sky, shoreline and sea.

The launch for the new development was held on Monday November 20th, 2023 at their beautiful Beach Grotto.

The Beachfront Enhancement Project at The Strand

The Strand is making incredible progress with construction and Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty is pleased to share the latest updates on the beachfront enhancement project.

The much-anticipated beachfront enhancement project at The Strand, which encompass the T Head groin and the pocket beach groins have now been completed. This significant addition to the resort marks a transformative milestone, introducing a unique amenity that will play a pivotal role in establishing the beachfront at the resort in Cooper Jack Bay.

The work on the T Head groin commenced in mid-September was successfully finalized within four weeks. The collaboration involved various stakeholders, including the marine engineers at CDE Group who helped to design the project, Ralph Dietsche and Wes Rambara of CBMS who oversaw the construction as well as Ian Astwood, from the Department of Planning and The DECR with their valuable guidance.

The Strand, satisfied with the completed work, said that they had already witnessed a natural accumulation of sand on the shores, enhancing the picturesque waterfront. “The next exciting step in the project involves the placement of 70,000 cubic yards of sand, scheduled to commence in January 2024”, said Managing Director, Developer & Project Manager John Fair. While they encountered some challenge, The Strand is delighted with the outcome to date.

What’s next for The Strand? The Strand is looking forward to the clubhouse, which is nearing completion with windows and doors already installed and swiftly progressing to the floor finishes. The clubhouse will serve as the epicenter of The Strand with exciting surprises to be shared with owners and the community in due course.

A heartfelt gratitude is poured out to the dedicated construction team, the patient owners, and the Turks and Caicos Islands government for placing their trust in the vision of the project and for entrusting The Strand as stewards of this magnificent piece of Providenciales.

This hospitality powerhouse duo will serve as our General Manager and Hospitality Manager at The Strand, which will be fully operational by Fall of 2024.

Frits and Jenny each have more than 20 years of experience in luxury hospitality. Most recently, Frits was the Managing Director of The Abaco Club on Winding Bay in the Bahamas and was the opening General Manager for The Shore Club. Together the couple have brought their hospitality expertise to luxury private islands including Fregate Island in the Seychelles and Mustique Island in St. Vincent.

Beach Enclave Long Bay Phase 3 Has Started Construction

THE STRAND SITE VISIT AND DEVELOPMENT UPDATE – June 2023

The landscape of Cooper Jack Bay is changing in the most exciting way. The once rugged road is now a beautiful drive with picturesque views on both sides leading to the most stunning development, The Strand Turks & Caicos.

Surrounded by the unencumbered beauty of both Cooper Jack Bay and The Caicos Banks, The Strand developers indeed chose the ideal setting for its luxury residential resort community. The reserved and untouched tip of Cooper Jack Bay is transforming with some incredible luxury residences, villas and custom homesites. Taking a prominent place on the edge of the bay, a series of oceanfront homes are well on their way to completion. The determination and hard work of the developer’s construction and project team at The Strand and the dedication of the Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty sales team are apparent, for everyone has been working diligently since the development broke ground on the 25th of March 2022.

On Thursday the 22nd of June 2023, Turks & Caicos Sotheby’s International Realty (TCSIR) held an exclusive site visit where TCREA agents, Government ministers, attorneys and a few selected key members of the community came together to see the steady progress of The Strand.

Touring the nearly completed Luxury Residence R3, the invited guests had a personal viewing of this magnificent villa and its views. From the completed private courtyard, the elegant two-story home directly on the ocean features a dramatic view of the turquoise water, creating the perfect backdrop for such astonishing architecture. The pool and the Caicos Banks merge seamlessly and are framed by floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors. The fifth bedroom guest house has direct access to the private courtyard.  Awaiting just a few final details, John Fair and The Strand’s team are excited to see a completed luxury residence very soon.

The Strand Turks & Caicos promised a private residential resort community unlike any other, where the essence is an owner centric experience and that is exactly what is being delivered. The trajectory timeline for The Strand is steady and on track as follows:

  • Winter 2023/24: Beach Club & Pool, Restaurant & Bar, Tennis & Marina
  • Spring/Summer 2024: Reception & Villa A Building
  • Late Summer 2024: Villa Building B
  • Summer 2025: Villa Building C

Richard Sankar, Associate Broker and Director of TCSIR is excited to see the project taking shape so quickly.  “Building A is already up to the 3rd floor and the views overlooking Cooper Jack Bay are magnificent from that upper level.” Richard explained. “Building B is up to the 2nd story, and construction as started site preparation on Building C,” he added.  

The project is taking shape and at a point where the velocity of sales is increasing, and the developer will be increasing prices again soon.
